Arch. Nicolò C. M. Riva, PhD

Nicolò Riva was born in Aosta (Italy) on 21/07/1977. He graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano in 2002 with a thesis about new plastic materials in architecture, shortlisted for Premio Mantero 2002 as best thesis of the year. In 2010 he received a PhD in Interior Architecture and Exhibition at Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis about informal living and its relations with contemporary architecture. Since 2010 he is Adjunct Professor in Interior Design and Architectural Design at Politecnico di Milano. Since 2012 he is member of the 1st Commission of Master Thesis in Architecture, Politecnico di Milano. From 2002 to 2009 he worked in the Netherlands for Mecanoo Architecten, where he was involved in the designing of several public buildings (museums, theatres, congress centres, stations, offices, sport complex), and supervised feasibility studies on urban and territorial scale. That experience has lead him to win prizes in important international competitions. From 2011 to 2014 he is partner and project-leader of Masstudio, Milan. From 2014 to 2015 he is Technical Supervisor and Manager of the Pavilion of the Czech Republic for EXPO 2015 Milan. In Fall 2014 he founded RBParchitects, together with Emanuela Baldissera Pacchetti. Since 2004 he is Registered Architect at the Architectural Order of Milan, n.14236.

Arch. Emanuela Baldissera Pacchetti

Emanuela was born in Milan (Italy) on 20/05/1988. She graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano in 2014 with a thesis about multifunctional buildings, focusing on the characteristics of each function and the main needs to generate a symbiotic organism that can change with the change of functional demand. During the studies she worked part-time with Gaia Chaitllet-Giusti, a landscape designer, and afterwords from november 2010 to 2013 she collaborated with the italian studio LAND srl and the german studio KLAlandschaftarchitecten. Since 2014 she works as tutor with Nicolò Riva in Interior Design and Architectural Design at Politecnico di Milano. In Fall 2014 she founded RBParchitects, together with Nicolò Riva. Since early 2016 she collaborates with 63de-sign, a graphic design studio placed in Milan. Since 2015 she is Registered Architect at the Architectural Order of Milan, n.19095.

FBP landscape is a landscape design studio run by the architect Francessca Belli Paci. Experience in full-service garden and landscape design, undertaking the design and construction of gardens, parks and terraces of all kinds.

JANO is a collective of architects with base in Delft and Parma, involved in research and design development. Without a structured working scheme, JANO faces projects through an horizontal working platform, whose variable composition in knowledge, disciplines and skills enriches the complexity of the proposals. Projects must reject the clarity and need of intelligibility. The design desperately needs to disclose an immaterial universe of values beyond the resolution in form of the functional problems. JANO was founded in 2014 and actually counts with the collaboration of Alberto Dardani, Federico Fontana e Rodrigo Bandini Dos Santos.
